My Favorite Things: Flickr, wikis, podcasts & various webapps.
My Least Favorite Things: the social networking aspect of web 2.o (too much information for a privacy nut like myself), tagging in del.icio.us and other web 2.0 platforms (I need to be more efficient with this).
Things for Libraries to Become More Involved With: Podcasting & vodcasting, YouTube, offering RSS feeds from the library catalog & website, wikis and webapps like Google Docs & Basecamp for internal collaboration, teaching web 2.0 computer classes to the public.
Web 2.0 Sharing with Friends & Family: So far, I've shared Flickr and Blogger with family & friends (my Dad has been keeping up with my newly created gardening blog), and over time I'll probably share more.
I really enjoyed the topics covered in this challenge--it encouraged me to try things that I'd been curious about but hadn't made the time to pursue. The biggest challenge for me wasn't so much the discovery exercises as finding the time to post. Anyway, thank you to the Committee for putting together such a fun exercise. I'm grateful for the experience and opportunity.
